A Coup intervention before a massive rally

A massive rally had been planned for late evening on Wednesday September 20, 2006. People from upcountry would be joining the Bangkok crowd.

At 10:30PM on Tuesday September 19 2006, a rumor of a coup prompted the caretaker government to declare a state of emergency in the Bangkok metropolitan area. The Tyrant PM also fired the Army Chief from power.

At 11PM, however, the Army Chief staged a counter coup and took control of the situation.

Should the rally be allowed to continue tomorrow, a confrontation would definitely be certain.

The Army will definitely receive a full support from the people!

WE THANK YOU, General Sondhi Bunyaratkalin!

Shameless Citation of the 19 Million Votes

The 19 Million Votes is not a permission to steal, rob, and sell out the country.

I don't know whether the people who claimed that the anti-Thaksin movement destroys democracy are really stupid or are pretending to be stupid.

Being entrusted with a huge majority--of 19 million votes--to run the country means people have faith in this PM.

Who knows if all of the 19 million votes were genuine and not from switching of ballot boxes or destroying ballots that voted for the opponent parties. Anything is possible in Thailand, everyone knows that.

Whether the 19 million votes is true or not, once the tyrant came in, he should have served the people and fulfilled his campaign promises. Instead, he betrays their trust by doing and expanding corruption in a grand scale to cover every sector of the business world. He, with the aid of his traitor cronies, succeeded in selling out national treasures--that are critical to national security--for his personal gain while making people deeper and deeper into debt. He also buys every single auditing agency, every court of law, every media and news agency, all branches of the armed forces, and everyone who is willing to bow down to his money and sell himself/herself to him.

To this date, he still claims his legitimacy as the PM by citing the 19 million votes and vows not to resign despite growing opposition from every corner of the society.

To my amazement and bewilderment, some people still side with him accusing the people who protest against the Thailand sell-out and irrational dissolution of parliament and the election boycott of the opposition parties of not abiding by the rule. Get real, people! It was the PM himself who NEVER plays by the rule. Parliament dissolution was merely his escape route to avoid inquiries into his immoral and irresponsible business transactions and to avoid the ultimate punishment--the seizure of his personal assets.

Do the pro-Thaksin think it is fair that the people should stick with the rule while letting the Thief cheat our pants off? When will you wake up and smell the rotting rat? Do you want to sleep and play stupid while the theft and robbery continue? Do you want to wake up when you no longer have your own country, or when you have to pledge allegiance to the flag and national anthem of Singapore?
